Harm Reduction Victoria has 2 exciting vacancies in the newly expanded DanceWize team:

Position One Dancewize Co-coordinator (ATS Project)
Estimated Start Date Early November 2015
Work Type Part time contract, 0.5 EFT 38 hrs per fortnight
Location North Melbourne
Duration 12 month contract, extension contingent on funding.
Salary As per SCHADS award, in line with experience and education.

 

Position Two Dancewize Program Co-coordinator

Position One       

DanceWize Co-coordinator (ATS Project)
This newly created position has been developed with additional DHHS funding and requires a motivated and suitably skilled person to work with the DanceWize Co-coordinators to implement the DanceWize ATS (amphetamine type substance) Program initiatives.

Do you have a background and/or interest in the music festival and events scene and a personal commitment to reducing drug-related harms associated within the music festival scene in Victoria?

Are you interested in working with DanceWize to design and deliver credible and effective peer education and support for drug-affected individuals at dance music parties, festivals and events?

Do you have the skills to conduct an ATS-focused project using a range of health promotion methods and messages? If so, you might be the person we’re looking for to facilitate and develop this new harm reduction initiative.

Position Two    
DanceWize Co-coordinator
DanceWize has an exciting opening for a new co-coordinator to join the team. Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience of volunteer management and event management.

Are you committed to reducing the potential risks and harms associated with alcohol and drug use at music festivals and dance party events in Victoria?

Do you have a range of health promotion and peer education skills as well as administrative experience and strong organisational abilities?

Are you interested in working with DanceWize to deliver credible and effective peer education and support for drug-affected individuals at music festivals and events? If so, you could be the person we’re looking for.
